Does this definitely mean a bigger baby, or is it true that when you're pregnant for your second time, the baby grows quicker but then slows down, where as its slower in the first pregnancy then grows quicker towards the end?

Been told this, not sure how true it is..

DD was 11oz at 20 week scan, this baby is 12oz.. and measurements are all bigger...

hello
I was reffered to a specialist after my 20week scan as baby measured small they have a scale for the baby in your tummy like, tge scale tgey use once tgere born so 5th centile to.50th my baby was off the scale 3rd centile but now at 28 weeks the measurments seem ok and there less worried.they have told me im having a small to average baby??
my first baby measured very average all through and was 6lb11oz.
I wouldnt worry too much it all evens out we all grow at different rates xx

Yeah I mean i had growth scans and they thought dd was measuring 3-4weeks behind, but she must ave been very well tucked up as she was 8lb 9 born, and i'm a size 8 slim girl, so that wasnt expected!

yes so im sure the measurments dont mean alit when it comes to birth weight!!
I really wouldnt worry im obsessed with the babies weight and size being scanned regually has made it more stressfull x

I'm not feeling stressed over it, I'm just curious as I had the scan today, and even though everyone says im small again i feel like i'm growing quick!
