Hi everyone. I am 17 weeks pregnant (& already have 15 yr old daughter). Big gap! I got pregnant after a bit of a fling...ahem!. ... the dad doesn't want to know... but having initially felt very daunted, am now really excited about it all. I wonder if there are any other mums to be out there who are going it alone?

Congratulations Kathryn . You'll find loads of Mums going it alone on MN (don't know how many are preg at the mo though) they are all doing a fantastic job, I'm sure you will too

Thanks everyone!
Is scary but I suppose the one advantage is I have gone through the feeling sick stage being able to sit on my sofa in unsexy jimjams, heaving whilst watching TV without someone pulling disgusted faces at me!
Am also now at the getting restless in bed stage and have the entire double bed to myself!

It isn't all bad, girls .....
