hello

We've been TTC for over a year. Earlier this week discovered I was pg (after checking via 3 clearblue tests - didn't trust it, still don't). I've booked an appt with GP but can't be seen till end of next week. Very excited but very anxious. I have an underlying medical condition and came off all my meds 18 months ago as TTC. My DH is very excited but haven't spoken a word to anyone else as don't want to jinx it. I'll be 36 next month so a little worried too about the health risks. But I wondered if anyone else was newly pregnant.

I'm not newly pregnant, DD is only 16w old so I don't think either I or poor DH could handle another bundle of joy quite so soon :o I didn't want to read this and run though without saying congratulations :)

My youngest brother was born when my mum was 38 and my aunt had a baby at 43.

thanks for the reassurance and congrats on your DD. I guess it just feels I'm late to the party and everyone keeps telling me the risks.

Just found out I'm pg too, due end of August. I am 22 and my parents had me in their 30's and always swore that was the best way to do things so I will have the opposite to you of people telling me the benefits of waiting!

Just as a point of interest to you, my bf's mother had her last 3 kids in her late 30's and cousin had one at 37 and one at 39, all healthy pregnancies.

Congratulations :)

Hello there - I'm 6+3 weeks pregnant and will be 36 in April. I've been describing myself as 'cautiously excited' after having a mmc in July last year.

Congratulations on your bfp. Smile

My Mother had me at 38 (almost 30 years ago now) and I turned out okay :o

Biggest Congratulations
