I have a doctors appointment on Monday as my belly button has just randomly popped out to be an outie from an innie. The nurse on the phone said that this generally only happens if you are quite far gone in a pregnancy or have a hernia, but as I haven't felt a 'pop' it's not likely to be a hernia.
Since speaking to her, I swear I have felt movements in my belly. I have put on weight, but then with my slackness in the gym and greediness over Xmas, I was expecting this anyway! I have 2 children already and with both the symptoms were so obvious (sickness, weeing, tiredness, tingly boobs, positive tests) that I found out very early on - about 6 weeks in.
I have done a test recently and it was negative, but I have read that after a certain amount of time they don't work anyway if you are pregnant.
Judging from websites, if I am pregnant then often the belly button does not pop out until you are about 22 weeks plus. I'm not only worried as I drank a lot over Xmas as well as having given blood, eaten Brie and other forbidden items, and not taken any folic acid, but also feeling a bit stupid that if I am then how have I missed it until now?!?!
Has anyone else not found out until this late stage?

I've never heard of your belly button popping as being the first "sign"! Have you missed any periods?

Pregnancy tests definitely do work all the way through pregnancy. Unless you are one of those women whose HCG does not appear in their urine? If pregnancy tests worked in your previous pregnancies they ought to be working now tbh.
