2nd timers and feeling movement

I'm only 15 weeks so not worried but am curious to know when you second timers started to feel movement. My midwife said it is often from 16 weeks onwards (obviously I appreciate this is very different from person to person!) so I'm waiting for that feeling but every time I think I might feel something slight where I expect the baby to be I usually find out about 5 seconds later it was just wind. I'd be very interested to here just how big the window is between some people and others.

Hi, I am currently 22 weeks pregnant with second baby. On NYE got my first definite kick. And it hasn't stopped kicking since. I had forgotten how amazing it feels. Before that had weeks of bubbling sensation from about 16 weeks but could not decipher for definite if baby movement or just wind!

I remember from first time round that I didn't really feel anything definite until about 25 weeks so I guess you are a bit more in tune with things second time round.

1st baby 16 weeks
2nd 12 weeks
3rd 13 weeks
4th just waiting (only 10 weeks at the moment Smile)

timothy glad to hear you couldn't distinguish between movement and wind. Maybe I can feel it then? Only seems to be at after aabout 9ish at night though when sat on the sofa being fairly still.
woolly how long between flutters and actual discernible movement for you?

Oh gosh, no idea really. The early movements definitely weren't wind, though. That felt different Grin.

3rd baby - around 21/22w Confused

With DD1 I think that the first movements I was sure was baby and not wind were around 17/18 weeks. I was expecting it to be earlier this time (currently 21 weeks with DC2) but I didn't get any of the little fluttery/bubbly feelings I got with DD1 and just started getting little nudges around 19 weeks. I was quite worried I didn't feel anything earlier but since the nudges started they haven't stopped Grin.

I can't really tell. I think I have felt some on and off but they are not very regular. I know from scan I have an anterior placenta (did last time too) so this is probably cushioning me a bit! I am 18 weeks tomorrow.

Eleven weeks with my second and third.

1st baby - 17w - foot/hand/head/something stuck out and could be felt from outside, even DH could feel it

2nd baby - about 19w - and yes you do recognise it 2nd time, much more easy to be sure that those flutters are the baby moving. It was later 2nd time as placenta was at the front.

1st- 17/18 weeks
2nd- 15 weeks
3rd- am 14 weeks now and not felt 'definite' kicks yet

It depends on the position of your placenta and uterus, and your build too so varies a lot.
