Did you find this helpful?

Or pregnancy exercise dvd/post natal too for core abs

Can't answer this but have been wondering this too so bumping!

Yes I found it v helpful, with Ds I did antenatal pilates from 18wks an then did post natal afterwards too. I'm now 22wks with dc2 and doing pilates again. The focus on pelvic floor/core muscles helps and I suffer from spd when I'm pg and it helps a lot with that. I was lucky and had a v easy labour with Ds and regained my figure v quickly - don't know whether either had a lot to do with the pilates but doing it again in the hope it will help this time too!

Also as the exercises are quite gentle I find the classes relaxing while also toning so suits me [lazy emoticon]

hey dozey good question! I am going to start doing them, and hopefully prenatal yoga too as I want to have as natural a birth as possible and have heard they will both help :)

I second that it definitely helps with spd/pgp. I had to stop running due to that but have been doing the 10 minute solution prenatal pilates DVD at home a few times a week and my spd/pgp symptoms have been much more manageable.

Can't comment on whether it'll help with the birth, as I'm just 37 weeks now, but here's hoping! Grin
