Dear Mums,
I am 11 wks pregnant with my second child, just moved to south croydon a nice area so far. I would like to know if any of you have heard of St Helier Hospital, is it a good one? how about the maternity ward? I need to choose a hospital but not sure which one yet, somebody recomended St Helier. Any ideas please!

I'm a HypnoBirthing Practitioner based in South Croydon. A fare number of the parents I have worked with have gone to St Helier and I have heard great things about it, especially their new midwife-led unit.

I think it's important to remember that your birth experience is very much coloured by the midwife you have on the day although you can always ask to have a different midwife to the one you are initially allocated.

I hop eyour pregnancy goes well and that you have a great birth experience.
