Is it true more babies are born during a full moon?

I'm due on 8th Jan and it's a full moon on 9th Jan. Just wondering what the theory behind this is? Anyone else hoping to give birth this week, or early next week?!!

Just remembered I started this thread when I was pregnant! The last message by shonno was posted when I was in established labour at hospital and my son was born on 9th Jan 2.47am...So he was born on exactly the day of the full moon - just wanted to share!
