Your experience with postpartum bleeding?

Just having a freak out over mine.

12 days post baby (elcs)

Bleeding on and off, stopped now bright red again.

I worry so much

Have you been an bit more active today? That can make your blood loss heavier, take things a bit easier and it will return to how it was.

As long as it doesn't smell, it should be ok

All three of mine were on and off for a few weeks. Nothing to worry about.

Usual rule is to seek medical attention when you are changing towels more than once an hour or pass a clot larger than the palm of your hand.

I bled for ages, can't remember exactly how long but it was weeks. And definitely stop-start like you describe. Hope it settles again for you and stops soon.

With my 2nd DC I bled for about a week. It then stopped for nearly a week then started again and carried on for another 4 weeks!
Everytime I overdid it a bit I bled more ( and red again)

Oh that is reassuring, was freaking out last night!

Had nothing all night and morning, then got up moved about had a but of a gush now ok.

I'm ready to just get back to normal now :(

Hi had my baby almost 5 weeks ago now an for a week n half not been bleeding but last couple of days I got brown old blood n started to bleed again. Just worried

I had an EMCS with my son and bled for 6 weeks!
I also agree with PP, the days I was more active the heavier it was.

It disappeared totally and had brown old blood for a day n day after the brown blood that was still there and then think i over did it by going shopping n now I am back to square one 😔 bleeding
