I'm 38+3 and have been getting braxton hicks for weeks, today when I'm having them I've felt like I want to push. If i do try to push nothing happens, there has been no blood and when i went hospital 2days ago ny waters hadnt broken, but babys head is fully engaged and right down, ive been getting loads of discharge and have lost the plug (even though it was only a tiny bit, but with my 1st two it was only a tuny bit) and mudwife said it had gone. This is my 3rd child but never felt like this with the 1st two.

I'd get checked if I were you. I've had 3 and only felt pushy in labour.

Agree with getting checked. I've only ever felt the need to push during labour and I'm pregnant with 5th.

Ooh live birth thread?! Good luck smudged, get checked out...

Have rung the midwife and she said it sounds like early stages of labour, but as they are so irregular and far apart to ring her again if things get more frequent. She said I could go and get examined if I want but didn't think there's anything wrong

Any news?

No nothing. The braxton hicks are still coming but still very irregular and not getting the urge to push now. Annoying as I just want to meet her now! Got midwife coming tomorrow so maybe she can explain a little more
