i have been getting pains that have been coming on suddenly, not really painful but enough to make me sit up and notice, they come and go during this time. they are at the bottom of my bump into my vagina they seem to last between 10-20 mins then go away, bump goes solid. it woke me up last night which freaked me out. last time i woke up i pain pregnant i was in labour. i am 33wks, not had this with any other pregnancy's and thoughts?

Could they be braxton hicks? As your bump goes solid. I don't remember braxton hicks hurting much though - maybe ask your midwife if you're worried? Hope it goes away soon.

yeah thats what i thought at first until everyone said to me that they dont hurt.

BHs can hurt if in conjunction with constipation, a UTI or SPD and the likes. Still worth ringing a MW and seeing if they're concerned. Will put ypur mind at rest if nowt else! FX for you xxx

My bh really hurt if the baby is in an odd position(back to back). But as others have said no harm in ringing your midwife just to make sure. :)

Bh in this pregnancy were enough to make me breathless and have trouble moving as so stiff/cramped with them. I would
Check with MW but my dr said it was normal .
