Need to earn during pregnancy! Help!!

Been signed off work for possibly the whole pregnancy!
I cant afford not earn money as I have a daughter to support and my partners wage is not enough to support us all. Has anyone any ideas how I can earn from home while on SSP? Also, is this allowed?

How long have you been with your company?
What are their rules for paying you whilst off sick? i.e. when does the money revert to SSP?

As for earning from home... I'll be watching with interest
ATM I'm just selling off stuff we don't need/use anymore on ebay for a little bit of extra income.

Well if your caught earning whilst off sick, you will get sacked......

MrsBigD - Well I dont get anything for sick pay. I work with children in a nursery and most nurseries dont pay sick pay So it is only SSP unfortunatly. Good idea about selling stuff off thouh. Will have to visit e-bay!

Friz - It was actually my boss who said about working from home. I feel fine in myself and not at all ill it is just uncomfortable! Thanks for you advice and I will have a peek at the website!
