Tightenings and pains at 14 weeks

I had a lot of braxton Hicks in my last pg, but can't imagine it started this early. Yesterday evening had lots of tightening sensations across the lower abdomen (no bump yet) and was quite uncomfortable. When I got up in the night, it felt like I'd been thoeoughly kicked in the tummy. Still painful like that now, but none of the tightening feelings this morning. Should I be worried? I am, a bit.

I remember with DD1 that I had to stop walking to work at 14 weeks, it was so painful!
But if you are worried, call your MW or the hospital and get them to listen to baby for you. That's what I did...don't sit and worry, it makes it all worse.
Hope you'll be ok.

Thanks. We're a long way from home and no chance of seeing MW or anyone this weekend. I'll just have to see how it goes for a few days. Might try to do a bit less than usual. At my parents so some good grandparent care for toddler!

Hopefully it's just Braxton Hicks, they did start early with me so don't worry.

See how it goes today, and if you are worried go to your nearest hospital.I bet you haven't got your notes with you! Tut Tut...
