with my first, it was easy. I has dh and a doula, plus my mom managed to get there so I was surrounded by great people.
This time, I think will be coming back to the UK (and stay with pil) while dh finishes his contract overseas. He will come as soon as he can, his contract finishes 10 days after the due date.
My sil has offered, but she is away the week of the due date. I was planning on asking my friend, (who will say yes for sure and will be thrilled) but she is a 2 hour drive away and my first labour was 4 hours from start to finish.
So do I ask them both and risk having them both in there with me or possibly no one if neither of them can't make it.
There is also my mil but i do not want her in there - she is lovely and I am not sure I will be!
I wil be coming back at 36 weeks, so won't have a lot of time to find out here the hospitals are or even find a doula, unless anyone can recommend one in Crawley?
Thanks.

Can you not find a doula via the Doula UK website?? It's not ideal only having communication via email and/or phone but would be better than leaving it until the last minute. I'd definitely go for the doula option.
