Bleeding and period type pains at 10 weeks

I'm 9+6 with dc3 and have started bleeding around 3 days ago.Mainly quite light and pink in colour, with no clots and more noticeable on wiping and on a pad.
I've also had period type pains on and off (mainly in the evening),but not painful enough to take Paracetemol.
I phoned my local EPU yesterday and midwife who both didn't seem too concerned and the EPU told me there was a 5 hour wait, which put me off a little.
I do have a private scan booked for Tuesday evening and I did bleed on and off for quite a bit with ds2,although from what I remember it was only for a day or 2 each time, and I can't remember if I had any cramping aswell.
I know bleeding isn't normal, but it can be very common,so don't know whether to wait til Tuesday or go and get scanned before then.
I've been Googling tonight (I know I shouldn't) and have read lots of things which say pink coloured blood can be quite common, but any cramping too,to get it checked out,and now I'm worried Sad
Any advice please, from anyone who has been in the same situation?
Thanks

Hi bubbaloo sorry to hear your going through this stress, Ive been bleeding on and off for about 4 weeks had a scan at 6 weeks and all was ok saw the HB, Mine is only when going to the loo and ranges from red to pinky cm and brown discharge!!! This is dc3 and I know I bled with both my previous pg but cant remember it lasting this long, it could be implantation bleeding, I would wait for your scan on tuesday, unless it gets heavy or really painful. fingers crossed its nothing major :)

i had 2-5 days bright red blood and terrible cramps at 7 weeks with both dds and dr said i'd probably always get it when pregnant - my worst 'period' pains were during pregnancy! i would get scanned asap though for peace of mind.

Thanks Smile
I was awake in the night and ending up passing 2 small clots which scared the life out of me! I phoned the EPU again, who told me that they were no sonographers available at the weekend, but if I were to go down there the doctor would see me,check my cervix and if he thought it was an emergency,he would do a scan. She said if I could put up with the bleeding (which is quite minimal now),then I may aswell wait til my scan on Tuesday.
