I am 22 weeks and 5 days pregnant and I'm constantly exhausted. Blood tests came back clear for anemia etc.

Is anybody else fit to drop and if so what helps?

xx

Yes tbh nothing much helps apart from sleeping as often as i can, on the bright side your body won't be so shocked when baby comes along if it's used to being shattered i'm told.

YES! that is all Wink

Newtothisstuff · 30/12/2011 18:04

I'm 20 weeks and im the same absolutely shattered !! Feel like I could sleep for England ! Sad

Yes, I'm 30 weeks and the toddler who wakes at 530 each day and often during the night doesn't help. Apparently it's because I have no willpower. Not looking forwards to having to get up at 530, staying awake until midnight and then having to drive home in the snow for over an hour....

I am glad that I am not the only one. Perhaps sleeping should be an Olympic sport I could win Gold. xx

me too. had two little walks yesterday and then was so tired i felt mean and miserable until i'd slept. am due to go back to massage job next week, 8 massages in a row... No idea how i will do it with an hour and half drive each way and no afternoon nap but will see! am 16 weeks. i will take you on for that gold medal!

musicalmrs · 31/12/2011 09:24

Yes! 21 weeks here. Very glad I'm easing back to work next week (only 2 days), but not looking forward to the five days a week the week after - and especially not the commute!

I'm there with you. Didn't get this at all in trimester 1- only a couple of nights a week would be in bed for 9. Also had pregnancy insomnia keeping me awake for a couple of hours each night between 430 and 7 and still felt functioning.
16w 1d now. I've been fairly active over the Christmas period but falling asleep as soon as head hits the pillow - not usual for me- and feeling so drained generally Today, we were meant to go for a walk and I haven't moved from my bed. Feels like low iron levels to me, so I might get some floradix. Ive had trouble with iron in the past, particularly as NHS healthy parameters on blood tests don't correspond with my experiences. I was completely floored/fatigued a few years ago by what the GP so helpfully described as an 'only very slight' iron deficiency. Didn't feel slight to me- couldn't get out of bed and was basically off sick for 4 weeks. How he can have thought that comment was helpful I don't know...
Sorry- am waffling now. Really frustrates me but I guess all we can do is give in. Tried to fight it yesterday and ended up feeling worse.
On the plus side I've been feeling movements of the LO during the past few days, which keeps me entertained.

Im exhausted as well, I was bad in 1st trimester and then fine in 2nd but as soon as entered the third I was back to being tired again. Im 29 weeks and not sleeping at all well which is so not like me, pre pregnancy my husband called me a formidable sleeper as I could do 12 hours straight not problem, im now lucky to do 2 hours before having to go to loo or change positions as my back hurts so much.

Rubbish!

Yummymummyyobe1 · 03/01/2012 21:00

Fingers crossed our sleep will improve soon. xx
