New years Eve Dilemma

I'm 14 weeks at the mo and due to see friends for a meal at their house on new years eve. They have just got back from a foreign holiday and have had upset stomachs. Do you think I should still go on Saturday? Not sure that the fact that it may be a problem was on their radar before but they have promised to be extra careful with cleaning/food prep etc. Just feel that I might be overreacting a bit.

i would go - it's 48 hours away yet, and if they've said they'll be extra careful then they're aware of potential risks. Also, in some places it's not germs that cause upset stomachs, it's just the different mineral content of the water and things like that (I often get a bit of an upset stomach in France for instance) so unless they've had proper food poisoning I really wouldn't worry.

No, I wouldn't worry either - as Mrs Cog says, as long as they are better by the time you do.

Thanks both - Its such weird things that I seem to get in a tiz about at the moment!
