Anyone else overdue? Induction booked for Friday

I'm 40+5 now with dc4. I've got severe spd so sweeps were started early and I have my 3rd and final one tomorrow, then booked for an induction on Friday. Gutted tbh. I was planning a home birth as I don't have good experiences with the hospital.

Anyone else overdue?

I'm overdue, 41 + 1 today, no induction booked though, am very lucky to be well and not too uncomfortable. Seeing MW tomorrow so that may change. I'm planning a homebirth too although it seems a much more distant possibility now.

I hope baby may arrive after sweep tomorrow for you and then maybe you'll still get HB?

I'm 40+6 but not uncomfortable. Seeing midwife 2moro who'll book an induction for 41+5 but i don't have to have it then. I'll hold out till at least 42 weeks if all is well with baby and me

Yes, 40+4 with DC4 as well. Had a sweep at 39+3 and was 2cm dilated but cervix unfavourable. I am booked for an induction tomorrow. I wasn't uncomfortable until this last week but am now getting more uncomfortable each day. Where I am they won't let you go past 40+10 and given that is over New Years weekend, I would rather just go ahead with the induction.

Hope some of these other babies come soon.

My sweeps have been good. Cervix is thin and stretchy and she could get right in, could even feel baby's head. So after two its quite annoying that I haven't started, especially as head has been engaged since 38 weeks!

Will have another clary sage bath after 'enders.
