Fluttering, but not where I'd thought it'd be!

Morning and Happy Christmas everyone!
I'm 17 weeks. I woke up early this morning and felt a light fluttering inside my lady bits - it felt on the inside, not the outside, but definitely on that area iykwim! Is this me feeling LO's first movements, or just some weird pregnancy thing?! It felt like a light, fast heartbeat, so a steady rhythm, but very quick and lasted for 10-15 secs each time. I'd have thought that baby movements would be more random and shorter than that, but as I don't really know what it feels like, thought I'd seek your opinions!

Congrats on your pregnancy. I felt DS1 quite early, and it felt like a flutter, quite low down. Like a tickle.

After a couple of weeks, it felt like I was going over a humpback bridge - like my tummy was turning over.

Sounds to me like an orgasm, not baby fluttering. You do feel fluttering quite low but not that low, more like pubic bone low, rather than in your tummy.

Possibly! Mine felt very low down...but was more of a bubblegum popping sensation than a "flutter" which at 36+6 I've still not felt anythign like that. LO was on her head and very low down at my 20wk scan. Sonographer did the whole eyebrow raise, "eh, that's an unusual position" thing. LO could be bishing your bladder/internal chickeney bits ('s what they get called in our household) and that's what you're feeling. Grin

Hippysair - ha ha ha no it definitely wasn't that! Grin

Can't say I've ever orgasmed like that...maybe I've been doin it wrong all these years Xmas Blush

LOL Oeisha you haven't been doing it wrong all these years always blame your other half.

Mine were like little waves and I thought it was wind until my mum had a feel. xx
