Couple of niggles

Hi all, I am 10 weeks pregnant and have had a couple of weird symptoms in the past week that I'm hoping someone else has experienced or can explain...

Firstly, in the evenings mainly, I get the sensation that I can't breathe properly. I get a dull ache in my chest and rib area and it feels difficult to take a full breath.

Secondly, at random times and even when resting, my heart suddenly goes mental pounding and speeds up like someones made me jump!

Any ideas? Or am I just weird?

Totally normal, I had similar in my first trimester. No idea of any scientific cause but it came and went, and completely stopped by the time my morning sickness had settled (about 15 weeks). I also had a weird phase of wanting to yawn all the time.

Now I can't breathe, but that's cos I'm 39 weeks and have an enormous bum dug into my ribs all the time from my heffalump of a baby....

hello yes i felt constantly breathless and couldn't breath in the evenings. It has passed, I did consult homeopath so not sure if it would have got better anyway... but it has passed - now 15 weeks, didn't have heart thing maybe its hormonal? get bp and pulse checked at your next appnt or pop into docs and test your bp if they have a machine in reception? love surfmama

I am seeing my midwife tomorrow so I'll check my bp while I'm there.
