frightened at 11 weeks

Started spotting this evening, this is dc3 and i have never bled like this with my others. I am scared and trying not to stress to much going to ring the mw tomorrow. :( just want some reassurance from women who have been through it xx

Hi I'm pg with dc #3 & dc #4 Grin!! and I have had spotting for the last couple of weeks I had a scan just over a week ago and everything was fine and saw hb!. When did you notice the spotting? Mine is wheni go to the loo? Hope everything is ok x

Mine was when i went to the loo too. I have a scan next week just hope i can get through Christmas without stressing to such xx

I had this with DD1 and DD2. DD1 at 11 weeks, no cause figured out but did have low lying placenta in 20 week scan. With DD2 had it at 6 weeks, put down to an implantation bleed and again at 12 weeks. A blood clot was detected outside the sac the baby was in and I bled for 2 weeks as it broke down.

I didn't have any bleeding with no. 3 that turned out to be a boy nor this time round, sex of baby unknown but it is due on Friday.

Fingers crossed for you. Spotting in pregnancy isn't uncommon and can have a multitude of reasons. Doesn't make it any less worrying though.

Hi I had a quite heavy bleed with DS at 6 weeks and spotting for the first 12 weeks on and off with DD. Both were fine. I hope it all goes well for you. When you speak to your midwife can youa sk for an early scan? I did that with DS and the booked in for a scan the next day whcih was reassuring. I hope it all goes well for you. xx

Thanks guys :) spoke to the mw this morning got a scan tomorrow so glad i will know b4 Christmas I think not knowing would be worse xx
