When does baby stop doing somersaults?

Today the midwife told me baby was head down. YIPPPEEEE! WITH DS1, each time the midwife checked, she was uncertain and he turned out to be undiagnosed breech. VBAC here we come?

My question is kind of the opposite of the one normally asked. At 28 weeks, what are the chances of baby turning back again to be breech? Please someone say it's not likely.

Things usually slow down at the end around 39 40 wks. As baby gets bigger and eventually has nish all room to move.

spend lots of time on all fours

and look into pg yoga, and maybe pg pilates (much more relaxed than regular varieties) both have exercises to encourage optimum position for birth

otherwise check with midwife, or ask on here. have heard that acupuncture, reflexology etc can help with moving a baby, so that may be an avenue to try...

im 38+2 and he's still moving a lot. my 3rd in 3 yrs tho so maybe im all stretched... he mostly stays head down tho.

Cheers everyone. Never mind. Fingers crossed. A natural birth would be just great. I'm not sure I'll have time for yoga classes but I might see if there are any videos/DVDs on the market.

oh i have a video for pg yoga - cant be dealing with classes - not organised enough to get there and then i always want to fall asleep, which i assume is inappropriate and would be horrible to wake up from and have to trek home after!

and i have a book on pg pilates, which i must admit, i have not even really looked at despite best intentions and ive had it since forst pg too. oops!
