When did you look obviously pregnant with baby no 2?

just wondering this as I need to have a cervical stitch (DS was born 12 weeks prem), so I don't want to tell anyone until it's fitted.

I'll be around 14/15 weeks by then. I'm a size 10/12 and don't carry much weight around the middle (my bum on the other hand... )

I think about 17 weeks I was noticeably pregnant this time. I wasn't exactly trim to begin with though.

I could dress to minimise my bump but it was obvious to those who knew me. By about 13 weeks... Wear a thick cardigan and then a long scarf this was my best cover up.

I am 12wks and huge. Impossible to hide. Wasn't at all overweight before getting pg, it all just popped out at about 10wks and strangers are now commenting.

Maybe you can wear loose fitting clothes for a couple of weeks? It should still be cold enough to get away with baggy jumpers by then...

i am 10 weeks and think i am huge now - about the size i was at 16 weeks with dd. i don't think other people can tell yet but i am wearing winter woolies and scarves. it will be interesting to see whether my uniform fits when i go back to work tomorrow i wasn't carrying extra weight pre-pregnancy, but my uniforms are a tailored shape and my waist has definitely, what do they call it? thickened!!!!

About 16-17 weeks. I also had a small prem baby last time. I think if you never had a big bump first time round you are less likely to "pop out" earlier. As the uterus and the abdominal wall weren't as stretched IYSWIM. So this time I started showing maybe a week or two earlier than last time, but not in the first trimester.

I'm PG with number 3 and I hope I can hide it till at least 16/17 weeks but I doubt it.

I'm carrying a stone more than I was when PG with dc2 ....

I started showing really early, about 6/7 weeks. By 10 weeks, i looked about 6 months pregnant :( Full term I was a beached whale. I went from 10 stone and weighed 16 + stone by the time I was 8 months and stopped weighing myself after that, and I know I was putting on the beef right till the end :(

12 weeks I was covering up. Luckily it was early January so I hoped I could pass as Christmas weight, just on my stomach...and the pale green sweaty face and slight sicky smell was not at all obvious!

I look pregnant to anyone that knows me well at 11 weeks now. I think people who don't know my tummy is normally flat just think I've piled on the pounds. Mate knew before I did was pregnant because my boobs are so ridiculoulsy huge (gone from 30E to a 32 G eeek GOK how massive they'll be when I breatfeeding this time)

dunno titan i had a very neat bump last time and a small prem baby. i am also quite tall, and am not especially overweight, but i feel much bigger this time around. had a c-section last time though so maybe the muscles were "altered"

About 5 minutes after the postive pregnancy test for me, but I did have twins first time around, so I just sort of 'popped out' straight away. :)

I don't normally carry a lot of weight round on my belly and I'm a size 8/10. I didn't look pregnant with dc1 until about 20 weeks. This time around I'm expecting twins and now at 14 weeks I just look as if I've been pigging out on the cake and biscuits! I did start telling everyone last week and a few different friends have commented that they suspected a week ago because my face looked different!

I was a size 12 before I got pregnant, and people just thought I'd 'let myself go' (yes, direct quote! bastards) until I was about 20 weeks. Then, apparently I 'bloomed'. Bollocks

titan DD was 8lb 2 and I was ENORMOUS by 42 weeks, so your theory doesn't work for me! I'm now 25w and am bloody massive again!

I had to wear maternity trousers from much earlier (before the end of the first trimester!) but people didn't start noticing until I was reasonably far gone probably more than half way through - I just looked like I had that kind of round belly that could be or couldn't be.

It's winter though - embrace the baggy clothes!
