what's the burning sensation that is going up and down at the back of my thigh??

Sciatica type pain? I've had it where it radiates from my bum cheek down my thing?

my sciatica travels from my.bum cheek down the leg to my ankles like a stabbing shooting pain?x

Yes I felt this too, in about wk 14, & was worried it was sciatica. 2 things helped: stopped swimming breast stroke as apparently the 'frogs legs' style of leg kicking puts pressure on the critical part of the spine. Switched to front crawl & back stroke and been fine since then.

Also started preg yoga at the same time & the teacher has shown us good positions for relieving sciatica. Just occasionally get stiffness in upper leg/buttock but with OH's help am doing various leg exercises/muscle manipulation which relieves this.

Would definitely recommend seeking GP advice too, though: my OH knows about sports injuries so he knows what he's doing, but if mine gets worse am going to ask for expert help. You may be able to get referred to a physio.
