Can anyone help? I keep getting hints of a sore throat without it actually turning into anything. I've also got that annoying heartbeat in my ear and everythings gone really loud.

Does anyone have any tips on how I can get myself feeling well again. I'm being induced at 37/38 weeks (currently 35) and could do with feeling good and not lethargic and constantly knackerd.

I have popped into Boots and Tescos and asked the pharmacists but they insited I didn't need anything, and that my body will deal with it...WTF?

Sad

My OBGYN said that later in the third trimester I might feel like I had flu and that this was normal. Hmm

Can you wrap yourself up in a warm blanket, watch TV and just be good to yourself? Maybe a paracetamol?

Pregnancy is just the weirdest state... Lovely, but weird.

Thanks Topaz - no chance of resting as I have a 2 year old to entertain and my DH is working away this week.

:(

I'm hoping he might have a sleep this afternoon so I can go to bed myself! Pregnancy really is the oddest thing, i've had quite a hellish one so I'm pleased that the end is in sight.

To be honest you won't feel anything but lethargic knackered and run down from now until your DC is probably 18 ! There is nothing you can take over the counter apart from paracetamol if you are in pain .
If it's a virus then yes it will run it's own course and your body will deal with it in it's own time.
