very early days for me- just got BFP yesterday only 13/14 days past ovulation.

I just had a tiny bit of fresh blood when I wiped after going to the toilet. Is this normal? or should I be worried?

Thanks.

It could be nothing, but the best thing to do is rest and see how things go. I know it must be scary but I'm sure more people will be along with better advice but try to relax with your feet up!

Hi, I think I'm about 5 weeks pregnant, and this morning had quite a lot of spotting, almost like a the start of a period, enough to need to use a pad, but not heavy. Have a doctors appointment tomorrow anyway, so will tell them, but assuming the worst to be honest...
Have heard lots about it being normal to have some bloody in the early weeks, so if it is only a little bit you may well be fine. Mine has been a bit more than a little bit. No stomach pain with it.
Any advice or anyone who's experienced this, gratefully received..

Hi all well I had bleeding (still have on and off) and I would recommend going to see your doctors I went last Monday and had scan on the weds they saw heartbeat so midwife has said to me it can be quite normal in early pregnancy. She booked me back in for another scan on the 29th just to be sure. So best advice is go and see your doctor.

Nearlymumofone - Bleeding around the time of your period can be implantation bleeding. It typically is very light and only lasts a day or two.

Peckle - it could still be implantation but it is a little late. When I got bleeding in my last proper pregnancy I read that 25-40% of women get some bleeding and in around 50% of these cases it is not a problem. I would recommend getting to the dr and get an early scan for reassurance - I have heard of lots of cases with even heavy bleeding and the baby being fine so try your best not to worry yet.
