Baby warmth at night

Our daughter skye is 3 months old. Whe we put her to bed, she normally wears a bodysuit, babygrow, cotten swaddle, and sheet we fold and tuck under the mattress up to her chest. The last couple of nights have been quite cold, and i was worried if she will be warm enough.

The temp in our room goes down to about 16 at about 4 in the morning. Her cheeks are cold, and the back of the neck warm. She seems to sleep ok, sometimes all through the night, but i still get worried because ive heard a baby can't tell you if they are too hot or cold by crying.

go by the back of her neck and tummy as long as she's warm there it's fine. If you go by her face being cold and put to much blankets on she could end up over heating.

What kiki22 said. Also, a baby who is too cold will generally wake up and let you know something is up, not so much one who is too warm.

If her neck and back are warm, she's probably plenty warm enough - 16C isn't that cold :)
