so happy i'm going to explode !!

i had my scan today Xmas Grin

healthy wee baby, strong heartbeat, estimate is 6 weeks.

i had a miscarriage in august, ( hence the early scan) & i was shitting it beforehand.

can't shout about in in rl, so thought i'd do it here Xmas Grin

Congratulations great news before Christmas.

I had my last af on 2nd nov so think I am 6 weeks and had a mmc in aug but haven't gone to gp yet! I want a scan to know things are ok but i am scared it won't be.
Did your gp send you or did you go for a private scan?

Oooh congratulations :) These early weeks after a miscarriage are so scary and it makes all the difference when you see that scan!

thanks everyone.

dolliedaydream- my GP organised it. the EPU weren't too pleased, & told me no, so she phoned & told them YES.
:( about august, hopefully you'll get good news once you go to GP etc- fingers crossed for you.

Congratulations, you must be so pleased its such a relief isn't it. Now you have seen the heartbeat your risk of miscarriage had dropped significantly so try and enjoy your pregnancy as much as possible now.

Congratulations :) I know exactly how you feel because I had a scan yesterday and all was well with my little bean too. It's the best Christmas present we could ever wish for.
