Yes absolutely.
Last pregnancy, felt shattered for the first trimester, had acne and not one bit of morning sickness, went off favourite food.
This timer, had some morning sickness, nowhere near as tired during first trimester, still love the same food, no acne (yet, fingers crossed!).
I felt so different I thought I was going to have a girl this time, turns out, I found out today, I am having another boy Grin

First pregnancy:
Constant morning sickness for about 7 weeks, terrible skin, lovely thick hair major back pain later on. Had a boy.

This pregnancy:
About 2 weeks of minor nausea, complete exhaustion until about 9 weeks, hair is alright but not great, emotional rollercoaster, back is fine but sciatica is killing me. Having a girl.

Morning sickness with dd1 also in hospital because of the sickness :(

Morning sickness dd2 in hospital because of it again :(

This pregnancy got the morning sickness but not had to go to hospital doesn't seem half as bad as the last 2 times but still on anti sickness tablets and I'm extreamly exhausted.

First pregnancy went amazing, felt great the whole time, no sick time at all, drug free birth...

This one - feel like crap, nauseous very day, crave junk food and carbs and exhausted all the time. blah!

CalmDownDearItsOnlyALikeButton · 16/12/2011 15:09

dani87 did the going in to hospital from sever morning sickness make you reconsider getting pg for a 3rd time? My SIL had hypermesis with her first and was hospitalised and had to have a drip and to be honest I was amazed she went on to have 2 more..but she said she knew each pg was different. Her second was no trouble apparently. I think if I had it twice I couldn't have done it again!

Lol calmdowndear I'm told all the time every pregnancy is different I believed it to be true as sister had different pregnancies. This is going to be my LAST as I'm never going through this again I thought I maybe lucky this time round but guess not. At least it is not as half as bad and touch wood avoiding the hospital route! I'm guessing I will be having a girl as its just same as the last 2 pregnancies.

Ugh this one's far worse. That time: leg cramps, congested sinuses so I couldn't breathe at night and mild anaemia but otherwise sailed through.

This time: Congested sinuses resulting in spectacular nosebleeds and appalling PGP/SPD. Nary a twinkling last time round. Am expecting to be on crutches or bedbound early next year. puddlejumper share your misery with misery with me Sad How far along are you?

No anaemia though - I learned my lesson!

sending contraction y thoughts to TJPJ

broccolitrees · 16/12/2011 21:49

first time very vomitty but not that nauseas, no problems eating at all; one episode of extreme exhaustion around 6 weeks but then was fine. developed pre-eclampsia and hellp around 28/29 weeks and had an emcs at 29+5

this time, constantly nauseas and a lot of unproductive retching (shame coz i feel that a good vom would make me feel better), off food, every time i feel like eating, i don't fancy it by the time i get to it; horrendously exhausted all the time, no energy to do anything, which irritates me immensely, which must be another symptom as i am usually pretty chilled and don't irritate easily. am only 9 weeks and just want to stay in bed and sleep for the next (hopefully) 7 months as don't particularly want pe/hellp either

hurrumph.....i am grumpy Xmas Angry
