I came off my pill at the beginning of July. Took a pregnancy test this morning and it was positive! I am really happy and excited but even though it was planned still feel a bit scared at the prospect of it again (this will be DC2). This is normal right?

Congratulations! And yes, it's completely normal to be scared, I bet you most of Mumsnetters had exactly the same response as you are having when they found out [frgin]

My DS will be almost 5 once the new one arrives so I'm a bit out of practice, it's all very daunting! I think i'll probably feel different once its sunk in properly. Thank you for your congratulations and replies.

Been using condoms for 7 years, as soon as we stopped I got pregnant. Although we had talked about wanting to have a baby, we never expected that it would be so soon!
DP even jokingly said "What happened to al the fun making the baby?"
So, I totally understand that mix of happiness and dread that you must be feeling.
