Hi all, am 38 weeks tomorrow, and have been having achy period type pains and lower back ache for a couple of weeks now. No show or braxtons though, so wasn't getting too excited, and neither was my MW. Then last night, the period type pain kicked up a notch and actually woke me up. I couldn't get back to sleep for a while, a)wondering what the feeling was and b) it was quite uncomfortable and changing position didn't help.

I've also been noticeably more tired the last few days, but still no show or braxtons. Could this be the start of something exciting?

I diagnose you as 38 weeks pregnant. Could be the start of something, could be nothing. Latent phase can go on for a couple of weeks. The something exciting started about 8 months ago, this is just a continuation of it. You'll have a baby some time in the next 4 weeks. Promise. I prescribe tea, cake, chocolate and a long, warm bath.

Xmas Grin showofhands

I'm 39+1 and have had backache since going on a cleaning frenzy on Monday. Slight bloody show this morning. Am still resigned to the fact that I'll be overdue and in hospital either Chrsitmas Day or New Years Eve! (In the hope that this encourages bean to pop out soon!!)

I was born NYE 1980. Ruined my parents' celebrations a bit.
