Maternity knickers?

It's official, none of my knickers fit any more. Even the ones I bought a size larger: I've snipped the elastic at the waist but they still dig in Sad

Anyone got recommendations for undies that stretch with your growing bump (ok and arse and thighs...).

I canny take it any more and am having to go commando (to John Lewis, of all places, what would my mother say...) Wink

My friend recommended the type that tie up at the sides. I've not tried it myself but she said they were great.

I bought the Primark £2 for 5 pairs to wear at the end of my last pregnancy (and for afterwards) in a bigger size than normal - they were incredibly comfortable and I've hung on to them to wear this time round.

I bought primark Bridget ones too - do not buy the NCT ones, they are like washing up cloths and went straight in the bin

I'm 33 weeks and still clinging to my thongs for dear life but i honestl have found thongs most comfy, i got really stretch low cut ones from primark and asda and they are great, sit under my bump so they don't annoy me, i just had a pull in the shop to make sure they stretch to size 20 tho there ment to be a 14.

like these - direct.asda.com/george/womens/lingerie/2-pack-animal-frill-briefs/GEM75530,default,pd.html

I mainly wore really low cut ones from primark but my mother did appear with really massive pants that were in a sale in M&S you know the type of thing? Belly button warmer ones. They weren't cotton all over the back and the bit touching your lady bits was but the front was a really soft stretchy material. They were pretty actually and SO comfy.

I bought some fancy over-bump-but-fold-down pants when I was in America from a maternity shop and they're HEAVENLY. haven't found anything similar over here but am contemplating sending them to some knicker manufacturers in the UK to get them to make some Grin not sure they'd appreciate second-hand panties tho???? Lol

Jo Jo maman do some proper maternity Knicks, I love the shorts one. They are low cut and avoid the bump (are were still comfy afterwards, I had to force myself back into my 'normal' pants!)

I had my baby two weeks ago and am living in the cheapie Primark ones in size 20-22. I don't give a damn that they are a mahoosive size. They're cheap and comfortable and they are so big that the edge goes nowhere near my c-section scar. Job done!

Mothercare do maternity knickers & you can get under the bump & over the bump ones. The over the bump ones are all fairly grannyish in style (a thong with an over the bump bit would look a bit odd!) but I think they do a range of styles in the under the bump ones. I bought some for my previous pregnancy and found them really comfy.
