I'm 27+6 and have had cramping for a couple of days but had a bit of a dodgy tummy so haven't worried too much about that.
I had my 28 week midwife appointment this morning and babys heart beat was strong and healthy.

I've just been to the toilet and there was old blood (not bright red, burgundyish?) on the paper when I wiped. I panicked and put I tampon a tiny amount up inside - about an inch? To see if there was any blood but
I couldnt see any.

Do I have to ring the midwife or am I being silly?! :(

Sorry for any mistakes - typing on iPhone!

If you are at all concerned, then phone the midwife. Better to get it checked out and find that it's nothing than to leave it and be worrying about it.

I would ring the midwife for any bleeding as you may need an anti-D injection. It will also put your mind at ease!

Thanks for the replies!
Went to the toilet again and there was a lot of slime Confused no substance to the slime and it wasn't lumpy but phoned as advised and the midwife has told me to go to the antenatal clinic tomorrow morning. I'm forcing myself to think its nothing and try not to worry too much until tomorrow.

Keep telling myself she cant be too worried if she wants to leave it until tomorrow.
