23 weeks and leaking??

hi ladies
well im 23 weeks on saturday and.my.left boob is leaking what looks like colostrum?
is this normal?

Saw your post and noticed no one had replied yet, I have no idea lol I am only 6 wks PG and can't remember with my son if that happened or not (18 yrs ago). Have you spoken to your MW or GP ? Hope you get some answers soon, sorry of no help just wanted to reply.

Oh yes, I was wearing breast pads by that stage last pg. Only 11 weeks now and got a bit on my PJs last night. I was very leaky while bf too.

that happened to me first time around, all was fine, it's just practising I suppose

i've been leaking from around then too, it's not actually as bad now and i'm 33 weeks

Yep I started leaking colustrum about 24 weeks - was reassured by lovely MN ladies that it's normal!

I was unsure even though this is baby number 2 but nothing happened first time round and breastfeeding failed due to no milk!

Maybe it's a good sign for you then. The breastfeeding board on here will be an amazing help if you want to try bf again this time. I'd suggest browsing it a lot beforehand so you're armed wih knowledge before you even start.

A few people who had it early on told me they had an amazing milk supply when baby arrived, so I'm really hoping that happens! Good luck for the BFing second time around - sounds promising!
