High HCGs and normal pregnancies???

Hello, I am 4 wk 6 days or 5 wks today and cannot get the HCG results out of my head so was hoping to get some reassuring advice from others on this site.
On 4wks 1 day, or 2 days I got an HCG of 743.
3 days later (4 wks 4 days or 5 days) I was at 2743.

So numbers are doubling every 30-31 hours. Which might also be high given I already passed the 1600 beta mark so should be doubling slower. I have no symptoms other than breast soreness and had central uterine cramps until 2, 3 days ago. Yesterday had a minimal feeling in the right ovary twice, then at night in the left ovary (which was gladly taken as figured it would reduce the chance of ectopic as some ladies have had ectopic and high betas.)
My biggest symptom is I am a ball of nerves. Won't get an USound until 6 weeks 4 or 5 days. So it's another week and some to get at least some answers (doing the scan then as travelling long haul the following week)
Has anyone had these numbers or similar and had a perfectly healthy baby as I am visualising I can have??? Or should I worry and get another test, early USound etc?

Thank you ladies, much appreciated!

I also found this for you

Im sure it's nothing but four years ago i had a molar pregnancy, and one of the symptons of that was a really really high level of hCG, but i was also bleeding early on in pregnancy which you dont say you have. Perhaps just go to your doctor and have a talk which him for some reassurance x

Thank you for the info icooksocks! and rootietootie, I'm sorry you went through that and thank you for being so open about it. And I am very sorry to ask this and bring it up as it must all be in the past for you, but the bleeding you speak of was early on? I'm just starting week 5, was it earlier than this? I'm sure you don't remember, but do my numbers seem as high?

My Hcg was 46000 at 6 weeks so in the high range. I had test due to bleeding which doc thought was a threatened miscarriage. In my case the doc said it was a good sign of a viable pregnancy (which it was as things turned out!) To be honest I don't think you can read too much into them alone as they vary enormously between individuals and even different pregnancies in the same person - especially the doubling rates.
Unless you have other symptoms suggesting all is not well then I would just relax, there are endless things to worry & stress about when pg so you will drive yourself mad ;-)

Just wanted to add that an early scan may only cause more anxiety as often you cannot see much on an US until around the 6 week mark. My EPU refused to scan me until 7 weeks as they said that if they couldn't see anything it meant I would be sent away in limbo only to have to repeat the scan a week later. Though I think when HCG levels reach a certain threshold you can expect to see something. I had a scan at 7+2 and clearly saw an embryo (blob!) with heartbeat.

Two people on the ante natal thread I'm on had sky high hcg's- one was 15000 at 5 weeks, one was 17000 at 5 weeks! One of these people is 16 weeks now, baby fine, not twins (the 17000) and the other still waiting her 12 week scan but everything looking good.
It's an emotional roller coaster but I'd take doubling hcg levels with no bleeding as a great sign x
