How far along are you? I had rib pain in 3rd trimester with DD1, nothing I could do to make baby move. Hospital called it coscochorditis (incorrect sp I'm sure) and recommended paracetamol, it did help. Hope pain eases soon

I'm 34 weeks tomoro they said same to me but nothing much helps unless baby moves for a while :(

I'm 31 wks and have right side rib pain. Not all the time but when it does come boy does it hurt. I find stretching my arm up over my head and generally trying to open up my whole upper body helps a bit. Today my bump seems a little lower and I haven't had as much pain so I'm hoping bubba has shifted a litttle x

YES! 32 weeks and thought I was the only one! I actually put a hand in there and push baby down Blush or sit on a fluffy cushion (no idea why this works) or stretch arm over head and to the side.

It's bloody painful. Sympathies

side meaning over head to opposite side...

Rib pain can be a symptom of pre eclampsia. Please Google the other symptoms and see your midwife ASAP if you have any of them.

Luminescence I've spoken to midwife it's deff nothing more than babys feet up in my rib cage.

I tend to be ok in the house as i can sit in any wierd position i feel like it's when i'm out it kills me usually sitting in a cafe/resturant or the car! It's right under my right boob as well so look like am touching my boobies if i give baby a push down in public lol

I'm 25wks and regularly feel like my ribs are being forced out - think there just isn't enough room in there! I find I can't slouch around sitting down like I used to, I have to sit upright, and put cushions behind my back so I'm leaning back and opening right up...it's all pretty rubbish!
