How pregnant are you?

Your gonna get much bigger

Crosshair · 06/12/2011 13:36

How many weeks are you?

Indith · 06/12/2011 13:44

That is the trouble with something growing in your uterus. It does make your belly stick out a bit.

Depends how pregnant you are. Sometimes you can get pretty gassy and bloated in early pregnancy. I looked slightly pregnant for first couple of months with my first then it went away and everything fitted again until the actualy baby bump grew.

I'm only 7 weeks it's my third and took a while for my 2nd to show properly but I wasn't expecting to be wriggling already !

Im sure its just water and bloat. I mean its not as if one meal out turns you into a chunky whale beast. Xmas Wink

Indith · 06/12/2011 14:02

Ah you are on number 3. So am I. Number 2 killed my muscles and I was pulling on the maternity jeans by 7/8 weeks, my uterus seemed to be on a mission to escape the confines of my abdomen. Thankfully at 29 weeks it is fairly normal in size, I thought I was going to be absolutely huge!

Beauregard · 06/12/2011 14:02

Every pregnancy is different as you know. Just put it down to bloating and try not to worry ,christmas is round the corner and at least you can blame your growing tummy on the babySmile unlike the millions of mince pie pot bellies that are due soon Grin

Lol that's what I thought the scales say I've gone up half a stone in 2 days!!

Between 6-10 weeks none of my clothes fit - I had water retention and was worried by the time I got to 5 months I'd explode. I put on a dress size and was a stone heavier by week 9! However I'm now 19 weeks and the stone has gone & I'm back to my usual dress size- I'm now only a few lbs heavier than my pre pregnancy weight.Grin
I wouldn't avoid carbs or bread - your baby needs them, don't try and loose weight, if your like me and LOADS of women on here your probably carrying water and it will go in a few weeks. Start walking more it will make you feel better and burn off the extra calories that your or your baby don't need. I'm sure your body will sort it's self out & cravings or not have a bit of self control get the good stuff in your body then eat as many sweets as u can fit in afterwards - which if youv eaten properly won't be as many as now......... And stay away from the doritos lol
