I am currently preganant and am stuck at name choosing
the baby will be a she and i really like the name Amelia-Lily (chosen before x factor started) it is quite a complex name so want a simple yet pretty middle name
any ideas?

Can you not use Amelia as a first name and Lily as a second if you're sure of the name? Fwiw, and yes it will seem unfair, I think I'd reconsider. Everyone will think you named her after the X Factor girl, and hyphenated first names seem a bit unnecessary to me.

I much prefer Amelia-Rose, really pretty, I think there are too many 'L's in Amelia Lily.

Most of my friends with boyfriends not husbands gave ther children dad's surname anyway, in the traditional way, and I think with a hyphonated first name you couldn't give her a double-barreled surname too.

He'll have to go with you to register the baby so that she can have his surname, if he doesn't I think that she will automatically have yours.
