anyone else had this pain....?

i have a pain around my left ovary sort of a site. it feels a lot like trapped wind. it is not constantly there, nor is it the same severity and it seemed to move to the other side at one point. i am about 7 weeks, i feel constantly ghastly. i haven't had any spotting or bleeding or anything, but i have lost a few pregnancies in the past and i am terrified this one will go the same way. i have an early scan on saturday anyway, and as yet haven't felt the need to be seen sooner.
i am sure this is trapped wind, but please someone reassure me that it isn't an ectopic or something?

Google corpus luteum I bet it is that disintegrating. Harmless and very normal, difficult I know not to worry but your having a scan soon anyway :)

Hi Broccoli! i had the exact same thing from about 6-8 weeks on and off. one evening i came running into dp crying because it had gotten slightly worse but after i calmed down and relaxed it seemed to ease. i am now 10 weeks and don't have it at all or if i do its the very odd and very faint twinge. It must be really nervwracking for you especially with your previous experience but try and relax (easier said than done!)

there are a couple of others who have had similar pains and it may be an ovarian cyst (where the egg came from) and purple says.

just wanted to check in to let you that had the scan this morning - all is well - i am definitely pregnant with a healthy heartbeating bean
