Had a craving for this (yay proper food!!!!!!!!!!) - are these ok do you reckon? I had heard prepackaged / preprepared meats are sometimes iffy?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

We've eaten quite a few of these when we've been in a hurry and always survived! Just feel a bit guilty that they were probably not happy chickens when they were alive...

Scarydragontalk · 01/12/2011 14:22

OK, I'm very stupid and didn't notice I was in the pregnancy thread.......sorry! Ignore me, I didn't eat them when I was pregnant!!

Crosshair · 01/12/2011 14:29

Cant see a reason why you couldnt eat them. I mean its just cooked chicken isnt it? Confused

hatchypom · 01/12/2011 18:55

The midwife said this was fine, as long as you don't reheat or put back in the oven

AlleycatD · 01/12/2011 18:57

I've never seen anything to say it wouldn't be fine and I am sure I would have if there was a problem.

I can't go into feckin Sainsbury's because the rotisseri chicken smell still sets off my (more or less gone) "morning" sickness. I have had to run to the toilets with a mouthful of vomit more than once because of those little roasted bastards.

It was the advice to avoid in 2006 but things I guess have changed, like most HV advice Smile
