Can we eat quiche?

quiche Lorraine, it says egg custard in the ingredients, am I allowed?

I avoided in previous pregnancies but have had the sainsburys taste the difference one this.time with no ill effects. As long as is cooked well it should be ok

why wouldn't you be allowed to eat quiche.

It's butter, flour, water, egg, cream, bacon, cooked.

what is bad about quiche.

Sorry I have it cold but I assume it's already been cooked and left to cool before being packaged etc just paranoid about eggs

I cook quiche for 40 minutes when I make one. Mine are generally huge ones but you can't cook a quiche without cooking the eggs it'd go all oozy.

Cook it again and cool it if you're that bothered.

But really quiche isn't going to do anything to you.

I'm sure you're not, but that's precisely it- intelligent women are being driven to distraction over all these bloody restrictions, most of which are only based on theoretical risk - its infuriating.

I started a thread about all the crazy -mostly wrong- restrictions put on pg woman it's no wonder we're all confused!

When I was fairly newly pregnant I stood in M&S trying to work out if I was allowed to eat a quiche or not. I reasoned it was completely fine but yes all these restrictions do get you confused at a time when you've got a lot to think about as it is!

You're not thick OP, here I am pg with dc3, in 2018 googling if I can eat quiche?!!!
