Itching and no rash

[Failsafe]

I have been itching and scratching since yesterday afternoon now, everywhere except arms and legs and I dont appear to have a rash anywhere.

Do you think it would be worth a trip to the docs today or shall I wait a couple of days to see how it goes?

Im 16weeks pregnant if that makes any difference.

I've been itchy as well throughout my pregnancy (33 weeks). No rash here either. I just chalked it up to um... pregnancy.

I would mention it incase of Obstetric cholestasis. I think its fairly normal to get itchy due to increased hormone levels.

I had terribly itchy feet and hands when I was pregnant, and my bump too. No rash, it would occur on and off throughout. There is something called Cholestasis which is a common liver disease but this only really occurs in the last trimester. As you're only 16 weeks, I wouldn't worry.

If it carries on for too long, see your midwife :)
