Tight Stomach in early pregnancy?

Im just about approaching 6 weeks pregnant and my stomach feels really tight like its stretching but too tight???. I also keep getting period like pains that last for a short period then go away? Anyone experienced this??

I'm getting pretty much the same am approaching 5 weeks think it's just moving about, I also can't hold my tummy in today not good when you want to hide it :)

Does it feel like you've been doing lots of sit ups and now the muscles are tender / taught? If so, yes I have it too. Someone on here suggested it was the muscles and ligaments stretching. Its faded off pretty much now though (am 11 + 5)

Glad I'm not the only one!! It appears to have gone off a bit now!! In fact yesterday I've not felt ph at all!! This is so wierd x
