19 weeks....is this normal?

Just wondering if this is normal... I'm on my second baby, didn't notice this with my first, the baby is very low down, sometimes it lays sideways, but more often its laying with like its head by my belly button and feet by my cervix, I think this as it keeps kicking me really low, and sometimes on my cervix which really hurts! I know it won't be settling position yet but I've only noticed it turning and constantly going back to the same feet down position.

I posted a week or so ago really surprised because thats were my baby is took, had my scan on Friday and I have to go back because they couldnt get the measurements because of the position but no one seemed concerned

Both of mine did this- they thought my cervix was a trampoline!

I'm just really concerned its not moving up, like when I lay on my bk and its not sideways, I have a bump literally from my pubic bone to just below my belly button, pretty obvious where its feet are,as I can feel its kicks very low. Even my partner who doesn't take much notice has commented on how low it is. hope it can't cause problems if it stays there? Xx

Perfectly normal at this stage I think, they don't tend to go head down feet up until later on :)

My baby was doing this too.

He was so low down that as he got bigger the weight was squashing my urethra & stopping me from peeing! I?ve had to catheterise sometimes to wee at all. He didn?t start moving up until around twenty weeks, which they said was unusual but does happen & isn?t detrimental. I was told it can take up to 25 weeks sometimes.

He can still feel pretty low down movement wise. I?ve had lots of extra scans for cervical reasons and the baby was always head down rather than upright so I think it?s difficult to know the position. I was convinced he was tap dancing on my cervix, which bloody hurts!

Everyone has said how low my bump is too but all is fine.

Thankyou that's deff eased my mind a bit. Yes it does feel like its tapdancing on my cervix which I agree...hurts! Well some mornings when I get up and I'm desperate for a wee I do find it doesn't come out as fast as it used to, like it was slightly blocked. not really gave it much thought though! X
