10 weeks - symptoms have dropped off - is this normal?

Hello everyone
I reached ten weeks yesterday and my symptoms seem to have dropped off. They have varied but not been particularly severe. I have felt very bloated, had a tender abdomen and some increase in boob size with a bit of morning sickness. As of about two days ago I am feeling much more normal. I don't feel particularly bloated and I don't feel sick in the mornings anymore. I am tired but my knackering job is the more likely cause of that!

My first pg ended in MC at 5+4 so I am a bit anxious about these things. I have had two scans (the last one was last week at 8+6) and everything was fine. I know that I should just chill out as a result (anyone able to hear the advice of DH in there...?) but my MC started with a drop off in symptoms, so I worry worry worry.

Has anyone else started to feel better at about this time. Can it be normal? Any happy postive stories would be gratefully devoured Smile.
Thanks
M x Thanks

Apparently 10 weeks is when the placenta starts to function properly, so that is why it is a bit easier on you when you reach this point. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.

Like KitAndKat said, at this point the placenta can start to take over and therefore you can experience a drop in pregnancy symptoms. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry Smile

I just posted in a similar post how I woke up on my 10 weeks morning and suddenly there were no symptoms. I have to say I did not have much to start with - slightly enlarged painless boobs (about halve of a cup size), veins on the chest and occasional waves of nausea. Now I feel fine and my boobs are almost normal. It is strange but I wish for a bit of nausea or tiredness:)
