I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant with DC2.
It was totally unexpected but I've slowly become used to the idea.

I'm suffering with morning sickness more than in my first pregnancy.
I'm also worried about coping with 2 DCs.

Thanks for reading :)

Whoops, I forgot I already started a thread about this. I'm suffering with baby brain already!

Congrats and that. Smile Why can't you say it in rl?

Congratulations, keeping quiet in the early days is really hard, especially when feeling sick. I suffered worse this time round (am also pregnant with DC2 - 17 wks), but it did clear around the 13wk mark.

Personally I'm in denial thinking that it'll be twice the fun and absolutely fine with two, my DD was 2 in August, how old is you LO?

Dontbugmemalone · 30/11/2011 10:20

Thank you for your kind replies :)

Hedley- I wanted to wait until 12 weeks (if I can hide my stomach for that long), so not to jinx things. I also don't want to tell my employers yet because I don't know how they will react.

Oltob- Congratulations too!
YY to the sickness. With first DC, I felt nausea most of the time, but I wasn't actually sick. It's so much worse this time around. Ah, that's very optimistic way to look at it, I will try the same :)
My DS is 3 and the baby is due not long before his 4th birthday, I think.

Congratulations! I'm on my 2nd to. Very nervous, my Ds1 will be 3 a month after baby is due. I'm 19 weeks, been hard work so far, with the tiredness in particular. I'm also now struggling to carry him round. Not that I'm big, I'm actually quite small. But I am concerned how I'm gonna cope when ds1 sleeps all nyt and is awake all day, doesn't have naps anymore. And this baby awake all night. not quite sure where I get to fit sleep in?

oltob · 30/11/2011 11:53

Congratulations to you too yummiC. When DD started to protest at going to nursery this morning, I started to say that when the baby came she would be able to stay home with me a little more, fortunately swallowed my words as remembered we're hoping to keep her in to give me a bit of a break . I think I'll be accepting more help this time round, and no babymoon, but from the sounds of it we're all lucky in that DC1 is old enough to help and get involved.
malone - more sickness this time round might mean it's a girl. are you going to find out?

Dontbugmemalone · 04/12/2011 08:06

Sorry for the late reply.

Yumm-congratulations to you :)
Yes, I know hard it is to cope with the tiredness. Ah yes, I hadn't condsidered that (DS doesn't have anymore either). Erm at weekends? Does your DS1 go to nursery?

oltob-Oh dear, when is your DC2 due? My DS won't be in pre-school when the baby is due so I have no idea how we'll cope either. YY to accepting more help, can't believe how PFB I was with DS lol. Not this time :).
I agree, it should be better that DC1 is older but I'm also a little nervous because my DS things his 4 month old cousin easy to pick up and play with :)
Really? I hadn't heard that. I think I will, yes.
Are you going to find out?
