Looking to maybe have a private scan, got my scan on nhs in 2 weeks at 21 weeks, but I dnt think I can wait any longer! Been not feeling right as it is, like had a feeling that there's been a bit of leaking water. No idea. Any clinics they can recommend in mansfield? Iv looked on internet, hopeless, I'm on my phone.

There's a clinic on Nottingham road my sister informs me.
2 weeks is not all that long to wait!

Thankyou! I know its not, I'm very impatient tho. Lol. Along with a bit of pain. Which iv had the whole time tho and have been checked but not since 11 weeks.

Ring your MW and tell them about the leaks, if they're not listening/or just turn up at King's Mill or Newark (looks like your antenatal services might be in Newark) maternity. They should have a triage system there. They should be checking your cervix (forn incompetence etc) and monitoring your fluid levels regularly anyway if you're leaking.

Thankyou, I'm at bassetlaw hospital in worksop. Will phone midwife tomorrow and see what they think, a check up would certainly put my mind at ease. Thank you again! Xx

I'd agree - if you've got concerns just call your mw - they should check you out rather than you having to shell out to go private.

I had a mw appt at 16 weeks and scan at 20 weeks and at about 18 weeks I started to panic. I wasn't feeling any kicks (anterior placenta as it turns out) and had just had some cramps so called my mw (should be a number in your notes?) and they managed to get me an appt that same day with a diff mw (as mine didn't work that day). I'd deffo try that, or as the previous poster said, try the maternity unit that you're booked in to (Kings Mill?)

Good luck though Smile

Sorry - for some reason my phone wasn't showing your most recent post. Good luck with the mw though :)

Any news Yummie?

Oh I meant to say, if you do end up getting a private scan, we used pro scan in Nottingham for an early scan (after a previous miscarriage) and they were fine too, and cheaper than babybond. But don't know anything more Mansfield based sorry!
