X-ray question!

I'm just thinking...my DS will need a routine x-ray in Jan and because he is 16 months he obviously cannot go alone...plus, he will be screaming and kicking so someone needs to hold him...
I'm 6 weeks now...can I go or (as I think I've heard) x-rays are something to stay away while preg?

I would ring the hospital and speak to the radiography department to see what they suggest - they might say it's safe for you to go in, they might say you'd be better getting someone else to sit with him and hold him.
