Maternity support tights/knickers/belt

I think the time has come for some support for the bump. I'm on my feet all day and it's aching.

Any recommendations - is a belt or band better than knickers as presumably you'd need to buy more knickers than belts? What is a good make? Any recommendations for maternity tights? And do such things as support leggings exisit? (if not, it should!)

I'm usually a small size 8, am 20 weeks but have quite a big bump already and it will get epic, if last time is anything to go by, but i probably won't get much bigger anywhere else - so if you have suggestions re: size, that would be great.

i didn't find support made much of a difference to how I felt (with on and off SPD throughout this pregancy). I bought two pairs of heavy duty maternity support tights from pebbleuk but more for varicose veins than anything else. One pair was horribly uncomfortable and didn't give good bump support, the others are quite comfy on the bump. I also still wear (now 37 weeks) regular opaque tights with decent bump support. PebbleUK does do maternity support leggings too.
I also had two belts from my physio - one just a stretchy band that did nothing. the second a huge corset thing with big velcro straps. I wore it exactly twice. It does give support but I found it too uncomfortable and bulky under clothes.
i haven't tried any support knickers ...
