Got my booking in appointment with the midwife tomorrow, I'll be 10+3. I'll definitely be querying about my scan but is there anything else it would be good to ask? And also how long do booking in appointments usually take, I haven't got a clue Confused

mine lasted about 45 mins, they answered any questions I could think I had, they talked about the whole pregnancy pretty much.

I was in there for about 25 mins, she took my bloods and basically went through my green booklet with me, fill it in as best you can at home then they'll check through it with you!

I'd used a wee pot at the docs before and my midwife told me to use the same pot for all appointments, but the booking in sample gets sent off to the lab so make sure you use a fresh pot!

It's quite boring really but nice to know you're 'on the system' lol

I had my booking in appointment and first scan today (also 10+3).

The actual booking in and bloods took about 50 minutes in total and then another 20 or so with the consultant who did the scan. Gave my urine sample in a speciment bottle I got from the doctor's surgery. Midwife took it from me and gave me a new bottle for use at my next appointment.
